Sightless

I’m lying in the floor,
With my heart not beating.

You walk out the door,
Without a reasoning.

I walk out of the living room,
With my eyes fuzzy and dazed.

And into the bathroom,
Through the struggling haze.

Open the cabinet,
Without a thought of shame.

Out of habit,
Grab the blade.

Roll up my sleeve,
For a fleshy delight.

Now in love I believe,
But that isn’t right.

Take a slice,
Gentle and quick.

Blood like ice,
Flows silent and slick

Forget the pleasure,
Double the pain.

One single gesture,
Put my heart aslaine.

The pain won’t enough,
So aim your gun.

My love was tough,
Then you run.

A silent call,
I cry.

I curl in a ball,
And I die.

You didn’t love me,
You didn’t care.

You killed me,
With that last little stare.
